Can a yeast infection cause depression?
Millions of people around the world have depression. For some the depression can be explained. For example, people can get depressed through losing a loved one or if they a sacked from a job. But for many the depression is unexplained, it just seemed to gradually take hold of them and no medicine seems to be able to cure them. Many people go through their lives without knowing why they have depression but still have to suffer from all of the horrible feeling that come with having depression.
One thing that a lot of people don't think about for a cause of their depression if their diet and in particular, the yeast in their diet. Millions of people could be cured by of depression by simply adjusting their diet to remove any overgrowth of yeast in their system. Yeast release chemicals into the body which can effect the brain and cause depression. Now in people without a yeast overgrowth this does not usually effect them. But with people with massive systematic overgrowth of yeast this could actually be the cause of their
depression and anxiety.
Yeast overgrowth can occur from stress or over use of antibiotics which kill the good bacteria in your system. once the yeast starts to take over your system that's when the toxins that they release can start to effect your mind as they are release in such large quantities than what they would normally be released in, in a health person.
If you think that a yeast infection may be the cause of your depression then you need to get rid of the yeast infection. To do this requires commitment and discipline. You are going to have to go on a sugar free, yeast free diet. This will starve the yeast and cause them to die. The good bacteria can then take over your system and the toxins will be removed from your system.
It can be tough sticking to the diet but if you have depression and want rid of it to start feeling happy again, then it really isn't that big a deal to go on a diet.
One good way to see if you have a systematic yeast infection is to first thing in morning, spit in a clear glass of water. If after 15 mins your spit is cloudy and has stringy spider like legs dangling down then it is likely that you have a yeast infection.
