How to approach stress relief through lifestyle adjustments
How many times have you gone to the doctor with symptoms like tension headaches, chronic acidity and irritable bowel and been told that we were suffering from stress. Most doctors will prescribe a mild tranquilizer and recommend that we adjust our lifestyle to change the discomfort that we feel.
To adjust your lifestyle you have to first adjust your attitude towards life. This is an immense task as you will have to work through the indoctrination that our socialization and our peers have given us and totally change our outlook to life.
Try and accept your surroundings and your relationships for what they are. Nothing causes stress as much as a constant denial of what and who we are. If you stop trying to change your surroundings and people you will lead a stress free and healthy life. Let the change come when it will without you trying to impose your expectation on it and remember that people dont change beyond a certain point for most it is sixteen, struggling to change them beyond that is a worthless stress causing effort.
