Khatri Matrimony in India
Marriages are celebrated all across the country with people having great integrity and belief towards the power of the bond. The number of traditions and customs in India vary according to the religions followed by the people of country. It is said God is one, but present in many forms. It can be seen practised in India in true sense, with every second person following his own religion. People in India have found God in stones even. They stand true on the saying, if you believe, there is God in a stone also. In the same ways, there may be number of ways in which marriages are celebrated, but the essence of marriage remains the same. It is the bond formed between two souls which is for their lifetime. One of the communities in India, where marriages are considered to be purest of the unisons on earth, is Khatri community.
Khatri are the Punjabi Kshatriya living in the Northern part of India. They generally follow Hindu or Sikh religion and most of them believe in the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Khatri
